12th Worcester Brownies “Take Over”
London Trip - 22nd May 2010
12th Worcester Brownie Pack went to London as part of our Centenary Celebration for “Brownies Take Over”. We left Worcester with 11 Brownies, 2 Guides, 2 Rainbows 4 Guiders and a Trefoil Guild member. We left Worcester at 8 AM, and went on a coach to London. We stopped on the way, and had a drink. We got off the coach at Tower of London. We walked up by the Tower, and saw lots of people and Tower Bridge. We got on a very big boat and went up under lots of bridges and past the London Eye. We got off the boat and had lunch at McDonalds by the park near the Eye. After lunch we saw the statutes and walked across the bridge.
We walked to Trafalgar Square, and had our picture taken with the Lions. We had Ice-creams next in the park by the Queen’s Palace. We had our photo taken outside by the gates. We walked down the road to Guide HQ. Inside we had a drink and biscuits. There were lots of rainbows, brownies and guides there too. After we walked back to our coach for our picnic tea to eat on the way home. Only one person fell asleep on the coach!
We all had a good day, and are looking forward to our next adventure.
Next instalment is “Up the Church Tower”.
