Thank-you to everyone at Region who organized the day at Himley Hall. It was a lovely day, despite the rain, and there was such a lovely atmosphere of relaxation, enjoyment, laughter and friendship.

I would like to express my thanks in song.

We all converged on Himley Hall to share in lots of fun,
Gazebos sprang up everywhere to shield us from the sun,
We greeted many long-lost friends before the day was done,
On the Garden Party day.

We dressed in all our finery to celebrate in style,
In summer bonnets, dainty shoes and dresses to beguile,
The Garden Party atmosphere made everybody smile,

The dark clouds drifted ominously over Himley Hall,
We gathered under shelters as the drops began to fall,
And were our spirits dampened by the down-pour? Not at all!!

With swing-boats, sailing, Morris dancing, croquet games to play,
We celebrated Guiding in a most amazing way,
